Hi, It would depend on the year you want. Scotlands people have births up to 1905. Liz

Peter, if you live in Scotland, you can go to any Scottish Records Office and search for the birth. Luckily the birth cetificate should also have on it the date the parents got married (if they did!). If you don't live in Scotland, you could always put a request on the Records Office board. I should be going to either Edinburgh or Perth in the next couple of weeks but you might find someone going sooner than that.

Hi Peter, You won't find anything on line for 1926 birth. See the following web site on how to obtain birth certs. after 1905. http://www*gro-scotland*gov*uk/famrec/bdm/index*html Replace the * with a dot. Liz
