Hi everyone I have not been on Ancestry for nearly 3 months and before this you could 'view the other names on the page' for a marriage entry. Don't seem to be able to do this now? am I doing something wrong or have they changed it?? If can't do this on Ancestry is there anywhere else I can check a marriage entry? |

They are just updating the freeBMD sections of ancestry - there have been a lot of problems with it over the last few days. Hopefully it will be sorted soon. Keep an eye on these boards - am sure someone will put something on when it is up and working properly again. In the meantime you can use FreeBMD at http://freebmd.rootsweb(.)com/ remove brackets - only problem is I find it a bit slow - but better than nothing |

Sharon, there's a thread on Gen. Topics about this. I've just emailed Ancestry; hopefully they'll rectify it. x |

I've received following repy from ancestry, after I complained. 'Thank you for your email. We are currently addressing the issues you are experiencing. The inconvenience is a temporary situation and hopefully will be corrected shortly. Feedback from you, our valued customer, helps us correct errors and improve the website. Your patience and efforts to assist us in this matter are appreciated.' So, if they listen to all of us, maybe it will be returned to normal service soon? |
