The silly thing is, once they have a six week turnround time, it never gets any longer.......they probably have six piles of requests and don't touch them until they have sat there for 5½ weeks! Merry

I requested two wills last December. They cashed the cheques straight away, however it was a good 6 weeks before I received a reply - I got one copy and the other they couldn't find.

My guess is they wait for the cheques to clear before they even start searching...sorry to be devils advocate. Suzanne X

Sorry to bring this up again but i sent for 3 Wills just under 3 weeks ago, was told to wait about 6 for them to come back, gutted when i heard that. Any way i recived my bank statment this morning York cashed the cheque's 3 of them £5 each, on the 1st of march. do you think that they may be on the way to sending them out now or do they cash Cheque's regardless. Diane
