I'm having trouble deciphering a word on a census return. The census is 1881 and first family name on page is Edith Kay, residence Westleigh, Lancashire, birthplace, Leigh, Lancashire about 1876. The problem is the fourth entry on the page Margaret H Hunsley (or similar). I can't make out what is written in the relation to head column. At first glance it looks like sister real but the head of the family is Daniel kay and he doesnt have a sister called Margaret and the surname doesn't link to any of the potential maiden names i've found for his wife Sarah. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be. I've been staring and squinting at it for ages and all that's struck me is a sharp pain between the eyes - i actually wanted inspiration! Thanks Cath

I would say Mgt H Hinsley or Hindley, G Servant (General servant presumably). Liz x
