Risbridge Created 1st July 1837. Mainly in Suffolk, but included parts of Cambridgeshire and Essex. Sub-districts : Clare; Haverhill; Wickhambrook GRO volumes : XII (1837-51); 4a (1852-1930). Barnardiston, Clare, Cowlinge, Denston, Great Bradley, Great Thurlow, Great Wratting, Hundon, Haverhill, Kedington, Little Bradley, Little Thurlow, Little Wratting, Monks Risbridge, Poslingford, Stansfield, Stoke by Clare, Stradishall, Wickhambrook, Withersfield, Wixoe. Registers now divided between Bury St. Edmunds, Sudbury and Braintree districts.

Hi Sue What is it you want to know about Helions Bumpstead-I know a little but know more about Steeple Bumpstead really ,i live in Haverhill. Annette
