I found these family names on the absent voters list, i know the address the family were living at ,BUT could anyone please tell me if it's possible and if so how to use this info to trace my families army records. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surname Forename Number Rank Unit------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ozyer ernest 72479 gnr 3rd s a r b r g a--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ozyer joseph w 386202 cpl 64th lab corps------------ Also what is the unit for ERNEST. sorry for not replying earlier but my internet connection had a funny turn and stopped working only just got back on line. thanks for your help, although living in leeds the family originate in Shropshire so could be a Shropshire regiment. Somewhere to try at least. thanks again joan |
