If anyone has time... I'm looking for the details for the death of a Reginald A. Philbrick. He was Married 1944 Staines to Winifred Lilian Adams. (Possible birth record) Born 1917 Mother's name Boorman; District Lewisham. Thanks for any help - haven't worked out 'deaths' yet! abi

Hi Abi!! You would have to trawl the GRO indexes, Q by Q (you can do it free on Ancestry). If he had died after 1983 then it's easier, but he didn't.....(well, not up to 2001, anyway) However, it might be worth checking 2002-2004 on 1837online (this isn't on Ancestry) Also.....what if he's still alive! How are you looking? Do you have any idea when he died?

I did think about what if he's alive still... looked up directory enquiries and there didn't seem to be anything there - to be honest I havent' really thought about it much. I probably just need to get the certificates and go from there... well Child Benefit comes in a week or so and I can maybe buy them then!! Thanks:) Abi
