as all the urls on the message boards have to amended to take out the brackets, just created a macro in Word to do it for me. I paste the url into Word , run the macro and it replaces the (.) with a . Also have another to replace the . with (.) when I want to post a url on the message boards. Fred

You don't sound lazy to me..........sounds too difficult for most of us!!! Do wish peeps wouldn't go crazy with bracketing EVERY dot, though!! (I used to do that too, so shouldn't complain really!) Merry

cant really (.) see why it (.) is so difficult ( .) to put a (.) in a (bracket) as and when (.) you want it. if you are going to (.) type it anyway. if you (.) cant be bothered ( .) with (brackets) Just put * instead

url just means a website address..... I think it stands for universal resource locator, or something like that! Merry
