Help with name on birth certificate

Not sure as i have only just sent off for Emily's B/C and i don't know anything about her family. Never new much about her and haven't really got anyone that i can ask so i am just as curious as you lol. Jayne |

Thanks Dea it was the Laundress bit that confused me (that is not hard to do though lol) I do know that she did go on to marry but that was in 1906. thanks so much for clearing that up for me. Jayne |

Hi, I would say that you are right - she wasn't married. Under column 5 - mother - it says Emily Hibdige - a laundress. and no father mentioned. Dea x |

Me again, could anyone take a look at my grandmothers b/c for me please. Under mothers name, surname, & maiden name there are two names, one is Hibdige and i can't quite make out the other. I was always told that she wasn't married when my nan was born so does this mean she was or not. Any help appreciated thanks Jayne |
