if you hover over this box it actually says Birth Marriage Death Divorce etc has anybody found a divorce on there ???

when you go to the main page and put someones name then click on search when that comes up there is a Birth Marriage and Death box in blue writing to your left

Thanks Valerie, just found it too, certainly never noticed it before you mentioned it. Helen Little Nell: Type in a surname in Search Records, with country, Press search. Now a list comes up on the left hand side. First is Census, secondly BMD comes up, put your maus over BMD and you can read, Birth, Marriages, Divorces, etc.... certainly would be interesting to know what the etc. means and if any divorces are listed. I think that's been there for ages. I expect the American version you can look at divorces too. But I'd like to know what 'etc' is! nell

If you look at The All Databases list there are these things: Arkansas Divorce Index, 1923-1939 Davis County, Utah Divorce Case Files, 1875-1886 Davis County, Utah Divorce Registers of Actions, 1877, 1880 Florida Divorce Index, 1927-2001 Texas Divorce Index, 1968-2002 Vermont Divorce Index 1981-1984 and 1989-2001 - New/Updated Canada Parliamentary Marriage and Divorces, 1867-1919 But I can't access any of them!! O, i am sorry i was looking for a blue square box to the left. Found it now but can't get any divorce's up. Might have to ask one of our friends across the pond if they can get them. Diane.

Just a thought as to what 'etc' might be. Annulment of marriage is a possibility. Google this to see various grounds for Annulment. Ray Whincup
