Hi can anyone do a census look up please looking for Serena Bowcock b 1863 in leek Staffordshire father is William (b 1833) have found her on the 1871 census but not on others, cant find her death and have even tried leaving last name blank incase she got married but still nothing |

Here's a curious thing. I did a search for Ser* Bowcock, no other info, to see if she'd been mistranscribed as Serina etc. The only entry that came up was the 1871 census. No marriage and no entry on other censuses. nell |

Just had a look at the image of Sarah Bowcock that Georgina found. Its clearly Sarah. Had a look on 1871 and its equally clearly Serena. Perhaps she just changed her first name because she disliked it or maybe the person giving info to the enumerator/the enumerator got it wrong. nell |

cant be sarah as she is on the 1871 census aswell living with grandparents |
