There was a thread on here yesterday about how some members seem to forget their manners when dealing with others, it seems that it's now been deleted! I just wanted to add that if you put a question on this board and several members answer, then please thank all of those who responded, and not just the person whose answer you found the most agreeable. This situation happened to me this morning and has left me thinking 'why bother?' Thank you for listening. Rachel |

Hi Rachael I don't blame you for being really miffed about that but I have had loads of help from this site and it would be awful if the minority of rude people spoil it for everyone else. Would it help if I sent you my heart felt thanks on their behalf, as I would hate to feel that someone who works so hard is not appreciated. xx |

I agree with you, Rachel. And even worse, I think sometimes people don't even see, let alone read, all the answers on their thread , especially if several comments are posted almost simultaneously. The same often applies if people respond a little later - posters do not always monitor their thread for additional replies. Jay |

Whilst I understand what you are saying and agree with it wholeheartedly, I think people should help because they want to not because they want or need the adoration. Some people say thanks some dont....c'est la vie |

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has responded. This has put me in a bad mood all day, but I feel confident now that this particular person is in the minority on this site. |

Rachel Rise above it - don't give someone else the power to upset your day, just because they don't say thanks. I've found that lots of folk don't even go back to their thread and look at the info, let alone say thanks. I put it down to ignorance and forgetfulness and move on. nell |

I totally agree It's nice for people to just say thank you its not that hard the nice people on here go out of their way to help and I myself have been help dozen of times finding my rellies its good that people know they are apprciated in what they are doing. Kind Regards Hayley |

I agree with what you're saying, unfortunately I feel the people you speak of would not read a thread with this title anyway. The people we help that are truly grateful, make all the look ups worthwhile. Sam |

I know how you feel. I always try to answer quickly and say thanks to all involved - HOWEVER -occasionally things are a bit slow and I have to go away, then return to find several answers to my thread! I just hope then that those who have posted DO return to receive my gratitude! Allie x |
