Hi, I feel like I am going round in circles right now-and getting nowhere fast. I am trying to find a g g aunt of mine on the 1891 census. I can find no record of her and have tried every search method that I can think of. I have even searched using just her first name but still nothing. I do, however know where she was living and what her occupation was. Does anyone know if there is a site that will allow me to look at the 1891 census by using just the address? Thanks for any advice - Lauren

Although you cant do an address search. You obviously now the area she should be. If its a large district it will be street indexed The only option is to walk the steets trawling through page by page. Which area is it? You could give us name year and place of birth. Id be happy to look. Sue

Thanks for your offers of help. This is what I have on her so far: Emily PARRINGTON, Born 17-10-1871 in Bethnel Green. On 14-6-1891 she gave birth to my great uncle. She was unwed so she was still using the name PARRINGTON. She listed her occupation on the birth certificate as domestic servant and the addres was 11 Avenue Road, Wanstead. Thank you Sue. I have been trying to locate Emily for a while now but have had no luck. It is driving me mad, which is why I thought a fresh pair of eyes might help. I shall carry on for a while and if I do find her I shall let you know. Thanks again....Lauren
