Hi Merry, It's in Longton, County of Staffordshire, Registration district Stoke Upon Trent. I've just tried looking at another image on Ancestry 1871- AND ALL 1871 CENSUS IMAGES ARE COMING UP WITH ERROR MESSAGES! Nooo, Why today! |

Thanks for trying folks! Does anyone have this info on 1871 CD or else where- I'm stuck until I get this info as there is a Mary Ann Webb listed with them and I really need to find out her correct relationship to the Copestick family. ARRHHH. Is driving me nuts! |

Hi Nellie, Seems to be all of the pages in that set that won't work I tried. Sorry I only have ancestry so can't look for you. Best of luck with it Julie |

Ooh- forgot to say I have sent a message to Ancestry about the problem - but they say it maybe a while before they can do anything, as they have to wait for routine maintenance days. Just had to be my family!! |

I have been following this COPESTICK family through the census- but cannot view the image of them in 1871 census- I just get 'image cannot be processed!' It is really annoying as I think the transcription details on Ancestry are wrong- but can't check them with the image. Does anyone have access to the 1871 census- but not through ancestry? It would be great if someone could take a look at this family for me. HENRY COPESTICK RG10/2875 folio 132 page 12. Thankyou. Nellie |
