Is it just me? I 've got up early especially to do some research while everyone is asleep and I just can't get into ancestry. Anyone else suffering the same?

Hi Helen I can't log in either. I tried to do a search without logging in and a message came up to say that they have technical difficulties.

Nice to know that their maintenance is timed to offer least inconvenience to our American cousins. Here in the UK, Sunday morning is about the only time when busy people can sit down and spend an hour or two catching up with their hobby. If I was them, I'd offer compensation in the form of free short term access to restricted areas of their database, but- hey - what do I know about good customer service?

why would you want compansation with access to there restricted databases, i have just renewed at £200 instead of the £69 and can now have unlimited accsss, but ther is nothing in those databases worth a light anway, a waste of £130 when i renewed on the email it had a colum of tick boxs and the £200 package had all the boxs ticked, the bottom one said this Unlimited Access to Everything on Ancestry(.)co(.)uk New indexes and images are added every week. You really do get it all. . if this is the case what will you not be geting for the £69 option ?
