Marriage Look-up Please!!!!

Hi could anyone see if they can find a marriage between Hugh Reilly and Violet Scott. We think Hugh died around 1988 but don't have a date of birth for him or Violet so can't even guess at a marriage date. They both lived in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. We think it was around 1920/1930 but even that's a guess!. Sorry its so vague and hope someone can help. Regards Jayne |

Hi, it could very well be. This is my partners grandfather and unfortunately all his family have decided they have total memory loss when I ask them for help doing his tree. I thought if I found their marriage I could work with approximate dates from that for their births etc. Jayne |

That certainly looks like his grandmother although his memory isn't what it should be he thought she had died before then. I really appreciate the help on this Jayne x |

From the info you've given me I think I've found Violet's birth as well so can send for that certificate and try and tie them together. Do death entries in the 1980s and 1990s have vol and page references like the older ones do? Jayne x |
