yes went there just before. Unfortunately the bmd's for quebec are not up yet. They would have been there at least 1845 - 1850 prior to that i'm assuming Ireland as thats where the parents are from and then i have them in england 1851 - 1861 at least |

Suzanne Try this site - it is new. www.ancestry.ca It is in English and some of the records are for Quebec - I checked the 1911 Canada census and is shows Quebec. There is quite a lot of info on there already. PM me if you need help. |

Another translation page is http://world.altavista(.)com/babelfish/tr it can translate the whole page in one go - but it is a litteral translation e.g. Log in comes out as Connect You |

At the moment that page says (with apologies) that they have a technical problem at the moment and their techies are trying to get it sorted. In general the search function requires a name of more than two characters: a problem for anyone researching NG! Christine |
