Just been to see my grandchildren, and I suddenly thought how hard it will be for them to do their family trees, it is hard for us but at least for the main, the same names were repeated quite often-now we have such an array of names-where will the clues come from? |

Hopfully from the notes that Grannie left behind. Which is one of the reasons that i stated this quest. And on Saturday my 8th grandchild was born and they have given her the second name Ann, the others all have family names as second names. Ann |

Oh names repeated! My family I've discovered on both grandfather and grandmothers side LOVE to do this. Sometimes there was a pattern like the first of either sex got the parents name but then sometimes the aunts and uncles used them too so there are cousins with the same names!!!!! AAAARGHHHHHHH!!!! Middle names would help but they didn't seem to believe in this either!!! LOL |

There are quite a few family names that I have come across that I rather hope my grandchildren will not be called!!! I don't really fancy the poor little dears being lumbered with Nimrod, Elvis or Obedience. |
