I have just found twins Noah and Pharaoh on my tree. (Withers born 1886 Midsommer Norton). i wonder if any one else has come across similar?

The one and only twins I have so far are flowers...Rose and Violet they had a sister Lilly. Someone liked gardening! I wish they'd pop back and sort my wilderness out! lol Gerri x

Gerri are you sure we arent related??? my nan had a Rose /Violet /Lily /Daisy/May and all the boys were named after Kings George/Arthur/Edward/Charles/Harold/William/ and thats just the ones I have found there were others.

did a look up yesterday for someone 2 daughters that we thought were twins- may have been , still never got to the bottom of it, called Ann & Anne that is REALLY stupid!!

Only 2 sets of twins in my tree, rather prosaicly called Robert & Joseph and (biblical theme this ) Isaac & Jacob. Sadly none of these boys made it to their first birthday. nell

My great-aunt had illegitimate twin girls - Maud and Marian. Sadly both died aged 1 month.

I once knew a set of twins called Claudette Yvette and Claudia Yvonne. Their names stick in my mind after many years. Jennifer.

An elderly friend of mine got a terrible shock to discover that her mother, Mary May, had had a twin sister called May Mary - who was actually her mother! May Mary died in childbirth and the grieving widower upped and married Mary May. If anyone in the family knew of this swop, they kept it a very well hidden secret. Olde Crone
