Sarah THACKER have her in 1851, death in Lambeth 1866, but where is she in 1861??????????? Thanks peter

Perhaps if you post her details - birth date, marital status etc some clever person (wake up Merry) will do the impossible. Thatcher is the only alternative I can think of but I think Merry does amazing things with asterisks!! Victoria in Oz

In 1851 she is 76, Widow.Therefore 1774. Place of birth Poplar, living Haggerstone with her son John Peters and his wife Harriet. At death she was 94, Therefore 1772. I am assuming it is the same person!! Peter

Peters is his surname - she is his mother in law. Haggerstone is E.London, next to Shoreditch

A long shot but how about this one: Sarah Packer abt 1777 London, Middlesex, England Head Greenwich Kent living with grandchild and spouse. (Herdman) Suzanne

I've found Harriett Peters age 51 and John Peters age 61 at 53 Great Cambridge Street, St Leonards Shoreditch. Are they the right ones? Then there is a Sarah........(no surname transcribed) age 86 at The Workhouse of the Parish of St Leonards Shoreditch. This was from 1837 on line. Perhaps someone with Ancestry can check the workhouse image. I haven't got any units left for 1837 online.

The Sarah in the workhouse is Sarah Saunders Sue

Have you got John Peters in 1861? If not this looks like him. RG9/249 Folio 75 Page 38 Household 231. in Shoreditch Haggerstone East. With wife Harriett and son William. Still looking on the other. Julie in OZ

There is a Sarah Simpson age 84 born abt 1777 Poplar a lodger with the Collingwood family who is a widow. Poplar All Saints RG9/307 Folio 140 Pg 14 House hold 89 Julie in OZ

Out of the area but there is a S Thacker age 72 birth abt 1789 Pauper in Birmingham workhouse. Birmingham, Warwickshire. RG9/2167 Folio 26 Pg 3 Household 1 Julie in OZ
