Make sure your rubbish bin is emptied and purged or the virus stays on your computer. |

Just unblocked my pop ups and virus hot matches appeared. My runny nose is matched to 2x watery eyes,1x sore head 1x stiff neck and some one claiming to be the mother of all backaches. I really should get out more. |

LOL. Oh God, I bet they are all called Ann Unknown. Keep it quiet, GR may see it as another money spinner. |

Well what they do is enter the name of the user and the date they found the computer and trace each other,if you sell or pass your computer on then they start all over as an adoptee. Just going to throw one out for virus hot matches right now. Glen |

And what were they all doing in the vault. Leaning against the wall having a fag, passing round canapes, spraying each other with silly string, telling virus jokes or what? I dont know where they go either. Do they shoot up to a virus heaven or down to a virus hell? |

LOL Heather I had a virus reunited party too in my vault and wasn't sure what to do with them all!! Like you I eventually took the plunge and hit the Yes button. I timidly roamed around the innards of the comp afterwards checking everthing but all was fine. My worry was , where do they go? Have I set them free into zyber space? Are they all locked up in a massive vault out there somewhere? Puters are a mystery to me. Kat |

Thanks for the replies, I was just worried about deleting the files themselves - not the virus, although I wonder if you'd kept onto them long enough would they have mutated or even started up their own family? Thanks again Kim |

I used to wonder what to do, in the end I had a party going on in the vault. If you click on the tabs it asks if you want to delete it. It then says something scarey like are you sure you want to delete a file? Thats how I ended up with them jostling for room then one day I realised YES, of course I want to delete it!! |

Delete it out of the vault, it's an infected file that is in quarantine because it contains a virus. It's no problem to delete it. Carol www.genealogyprinters(.)com |

Hi All, Have AVG7 loaded on my comp and it's telling me it has a virus captured in the vault. Can anyone please tell me what to do with it - do I leave it in the vault, do I delete it, or what? I know this programme is supposed to be user friendly but I don't find it so - and I don't usually struggle with the computer at all. I'm worried if I delete it am I deleting the file as well and if so how will that affect my computer? Hope someone out there can advise me. Many thanks Kim |
