Well, as I waded through the Mary Ann Unknowns, I hastily clicked delete on one which I suddenly realised had a second name on there. Went back through my email link and yes, a match at long last - on hubbys side. |

Congratulations Heather! That's very exciting :o) Unfortunately I made the very silly mistake of adding an Edward Smith to my tree, now all my William Wilkinsons born anytime, anywhere have turned into Edward Smiths :o( Helenxxx (in France) |

Yes, I automatically clicked delete for one of mine and then realised it was a genuine match! I couldn't find any way of getting it back except looking through 20 pages of deleted hot matches, but luckily I found it easily by searching for the name. My hot matches have now got to the letter 'D'! Kate. |

Oh how I envy you all, I have 4 definate ......well I think they are definate lol..... matches and have emailed all 4 of them giving them a potted history of why I think there may be a match ....... none of this automated 'can I view your tree' rubbish.....and have not had one reply!!! How long do you all leave it before you email again, or should I just give up on the hot matches? Audrey |

Well, my original feeling that this is an unnecessary waste of time has just been reinforced - I spotted an extremely promising match yesterday, two brothers, right date and county. Excitedly emailed. Got a reply today. Not only are the middle names wrong, but so is the AREA - wonder why the person concerned didnt put the Town in their tree? Olde Crone |
