I would say it is Petham, and her maiden name is Souter. Does that fit? Dea x P.S. - baby born at Petham Road.

Hi, You can find sample handwriting at www(.)compter(.)org I sent for a new birth certificate for my grandmother as my great grandmothers maiden name wasn't clear. When it arrived, written in modern handwriting, 'mothers maiden name' was nothing like it looked on the old one. Regards Kathleen
