Hi I have been using 1837 since Jan 03 - worked fine. Purchased some credits yesterday afternoon and when I was about to view my first image it came up with **You do not have the Djvu viewer installed on your computer**. It was on here in September - so I followed the instructions but it did not work. Then I tried to do it manually and clicking on save to desk top....but that did not work. I looked at what it had stored and it only had a fraction of what it need to. Can I load it from any other site please? Many thanks Pen x (just going to check a ham and put some potatoes in, back in 10 mins)

Thanks Anna, will do. Lizard are the ones that provide it to 1837 are'nt they? Will it be better to try direct from there then? Sorry to be a pain Pen x

okay, so it's probably working by now, but this happened to me - after my hubbie had cleaned out all the cookies! Claire

Thanks for that Claire. Have got rid of most of the cookies - Lizard tech site did'nt help. Tried downloading it from them and got nowhere - getting very frustrated now. Pen x

go to Add/Remove Programs on Control Panel (this may vary a bit between systems) and look for Lizardtech Djvu or similar. If it's listed, the system registry thinks it's already installed, which may be why it won't reinstall. Try uninstalling it, and then reinstalling it

Hi Robin, Unfortunatly that has not worked either. Went to control panel - add/remove programme found it - it's showing up as there although not fully loaded - clicked on to change/remove and it will not let me starts to do something and then box appears ' you need to enter blah blah Disk' - (lizard tech disk) Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Might have to shut the whole bloomin thing down - can not think of any other way. No uninstall box appearing for the lizard tech download. Have checked security - no virus or breach. Long night of sulking ahead I think. Thanks for the tip though - at least I know that's it's kinda there. Pen x

This happened to me yesterday when I bought new credits. Luckily I have a computer teccy husband who helped me to install it, otherwise I would have been stuck, and having spent money on credits for info I could not view. I think they should make it more user friendly for those of us with limited computer skills!!!
