Also I have found that in the past few days, I can no longer view the details on the 'Ancestry World Trees' - instead I get a screen demanding payment for ''World Deluxe Membership'' (for a cost of £200 no less!!). This section of their site used to be included in my annual UK collection sub. I'm certainly not going to pay an extra £150 just to view their World Trees - which consists of info that has been submitted by their members in any case, it is not primary source info and is unverified accuracy. Anyone else noticed this? Richard

I have been able to access trees on ancestry today but a few days ago it refused to believe that anyone by the name of Proctor had ever been born, married or died. Ellen X

Yes I had that Richard - its a fair old whack of money they wanted for viewing 'world records'. Well as very few of mine ever left these shores til quite recently I dont think I shall bother.

I subscribed to the UK records through the US site, and I still have access to the World trees (I just checked this morning!). If anyone needs a lookup, let me know :)

Ancestrys going a bit mad today. I was just trying to look up someone for a member on records board and instead of the Welsh census results, I got all the american ones!

I was hoping that when it went off line a day or so ago, but only this survey thing has appeared. They did promise it would be here shortly but I would have thought a sample would be on there like with the 51 first. Oh what a lovely present that would be.
