Hi all, I haven't recieved any hot matches since November 8th. Should we be getting them once a month? Thought it just me! Sue

All the ones I asked to be ignored are in the ignored box and there are as many in there as in the other box for the ones you keep and new ones (when the retched things arrive). I'll leave the things where they are then if they will just keep coming back to haunt me. Lunar xXx

It doesn't put them back in, nor does it delete them. You end up with two 'piles'. You current matches, which is what you see when you click on Hot Matches, and 'Ignored Hot Matches' which you can get to by clicking on the link at the bottom on the left from your current matches Don't forget to click the Save Button on the bottom right after making changes, ticking the 'Don't show these again box' box is not sufficient.

Peter's right although it does seem odd to click 'save' when you want to get rid of them!!! Such is life.

Jill yes very true. But don't forget that the guys and gals who write the programs know how they are supposed to work, after all they wrote them in the first place. It is just that sometimes they dont put themselves in the shoes of someone who hasn't seen it before. To be fair Ge Reu did listen to a lot of comments last year, expecially about the way the headings on the Tree Permisions on the 'My Contacts' page were worded as it was extremely confusing for a lot of people. We now have Can you see their tree? ........ Let them see your tree Yes View or No Ask ......... tick in Box to let them and voila.... no more confusion.

They also took on board my (and anyone else who said so) suggestion that it was very tedious not to have your preferred number of days saved in the tree matches; having to keep changing from All to 1-day every time you went into the list was such a nuisance. Christine

Log, Definitely going round in circles!! Look on the bright side - won't see many robins at Charnwood!! Peter, Changes can now be made from within the hot match - and clicking discard match when within an ignored match very definitely puts it back on the list of current matches - would be so much easier if the word used within the match was ignore, in line with the other way of moving them!! Yours still waiting to hear from 'Wendy' who has 11 matches with my tree!!
