Michelle I am not sure, I have just googled the 'boer war' and there are some interesting results, worth taking a look. Georgina.

If he did die in the Boar War, would there be access on line to the records. I had a look at the records for overseas on 1837 online but couldn't find him.

He could have died anywhere. This one fits his age... Deaths Jun 1892 Smith Jesse 32 Camberwell 1d 468 But dont forget he could have been away in 1901 in the Boer War which was from 1899-1902. Georgina.

I think I am doing something wrong here. I am trying to find a marriage and death record for; Jesse Smith b; 1859, Bradford, Yorkshire I have him on all the census records but can't find him on the 1901. I have searched 1837 online and Ancestry but can not find any record of him after 1901. On the 1891 census he is station in army barracks Barracks as an Army Colour Sargeant. I have searched the overseas records on 1837 and still came up with nothing. If there is anyone who knows where I can look next or can help me please, please let me know. Many thanks
