Use the 'import /export tree' link at the side of this page to EXPORT your tree from GR to your computer- make a note of where on your computer you are saving it to. Start PAF and select import file, then select GEDCOM for file type and wherever you saved the file in the 'Look in' box - eg if you saved to desktop then select desktop in the 'look in 'box |

Just go to file/new (in PAF) give it a name and then import the gedcom this will create a new file. You browse to wherever you exported (saved) your your file from GR to. Bob |

June stop saying you are dumb you are not ,just learning like all of us you will soon wonder what you were worried about. I cannot help you with this as I too dont really understand it I did put all my rellies I have found on individually as wasnt sure how to do it any other way,but dont consider myself dumb just new to it good luck. |

Can someone help June with this please. I suggested she had this programme to put her research on, although I use it, I I don't know how she can put all her names on it from Genes, can she do it with a gedcom from Genes?If so can you help her and explain how it is done please. Sue....... |

Hi Can anyone tell me what to do after down loading P A F from familysearch .org ? how can i put all my names on ? Do i have to write it all out ? sorry i am Dumb. June x |
