Found this when looking for Albert, but I think this merely muddies the waters: Ann Eldrige abt 1837 Langford, Berkshire, England Wife Hatford Berkshire Charles Eldrige abt 1837 Halford, Berkshire, England Head Hatford Berkshire Richard Eldrige abt 1859 Stanford, Berkshire, England Son Hatford Berkshire Thomas Eldrige abt 1860 Halford, Berkshire, England Son Hatford Berkshire Albert Hutton abt 1843 Littleworth, Berkshire, England Brother Hatford Berkshire RG9/729 Folio: 10 Page: 14 Registration district: Faringdon Sub-registration district: Buckland nell Trust Jess to find this lot first - I notice she hasn't found my missing Broads yet!!!:-) |

Honest guys, this is driving me mad, Ive added a post three times now but it just disappears! I was saying , Id seen that Henry but his age 12 years out? Unless it was cos he was desperate for a job? He is widowed and I can see the kids could be dispersed though ann should be younger than Albert - will have to look at the image see if they got that wrong. Is she old enough by 1861? No, I dont think that is sister Ann, she is too old and I noticed Alberts relationship has been scribbled over - could possibly be brother overwritten lodger? Its the right boy though I think as he is a shepherd as was Charles who is still missing. Charlie (still missing) who was born about 1841 is Hubbys GGFx2. |

Heather I wondered about the ages too, but assumed that as they were same surname and born in the same place they might be relatives of some kind anyway? Not sure how common a surname Hutton is/was round those parts, or how big Littleworth is/was. nell |

Slow brain here. Is it possible that Charles was born before his parents married? Could Albert be the brother of Charles, not Ann? |

All I can think guys - (Gawd, more name changes, please be fair to me) is that possibly Charles has been entered under the name of the family he is working for/lodging with. I will go and study Val Kilmer on a dvd for a while (half naked a minute ago - him, not me) and come back to this later. Love yer. |
