I need to search the census for Kilburn in Mddx/London. It doesn't seem to be listed under Middlesex or London places. Does anyone know what it would come under? Thanks. Carole xx |

Kilburn would have been Middlesex earlier and London later. When are you trying to find it and who are you looking for? nell |

Helen, I'm searching for Annie Pulham born abt 1855 in Kent/Surrey thats all I know about her place of birth. I have her marriage cert in 1878, and she lived at 25 Boston Rd. The marriage took place at The Church of St. Mary, Kilburn, Middlesex. I'm trying to find her in 71 and thought I would trawl through Kilburn census but cant find it. I wonder if it was a district of Willesden as some of her hubbys family came from there. Carole xx |

Helen Pulham is her maiden name. Found her in 81 91 and 1901 when her name is Annie Morris. She states her place of birth as being Kent in earlier census then in 1901 it's Mitcham Surrey. Her father was James Pulham who was deceased in 1878 when Annie married. That's all I know about them. Oh by the way I just checked marriage cert again and she lived at 25 Bolton Road, not Boston Road. Carole xx |

Helen No it just says Kent grrrrrrrr! It's so frustrating. I tried looking for her birth on 1837 online and did find a possible but the place of birth and page number where unreadable. Carole |

I was wondering about these two children......I know they say born Lambeth, but they would have to say they were born there, in order to get in to the Lambeth Industrial School, which was run by the Lambeth Poor Law Union (ie part of the workhouse) 1861 census: Ann Pulham abt 1855 Lambeth Lambeth Surrey John Pulham abt 1854 Lambeth Lambeth Surrey I would put them on the back burner in case you can't find anything better!
