These are churches in Pimlico listed on Genuki: St Barnabas, Church Street, Pimlico [1850] Separate parish - Still open Parish is no. 33 on outline map St John's Chapel, Pimlico Road. Chapel-of-Ease to above. St Gabriel, Warwick Square, Pimlico [1852] - Still open Parish is no. 34 on outline map All Saints, Grosvenor Road, Pimlico. Chapel-of-Ease to previous (1863) Closed 1967. Parish Registers: Baptisms, 1864-1983; Banns, 1899-1953, 1970-1979; Marriages, 1864-1980; Churchwardens: Accounts, 1941-1966 Acc 1504; Church fabric papers, plans, sections and elevations of the church, 1863 Acc 1736; Parochial Church Council: Minutes, 1944-1963; Vestry Minutes: 1945-1963Acc 1504 These are the two listed in the Westminster Archives site. nell

I'm not sure how large Pimlico is, Daisy, but its not as big as the whole of Westminster. I'll see if I can find out how many churches there are. nell

Thanks Nell. Looks like I've a massive search ahead of me as I've no idea which church in Pimlico it will be. I'll just get there and hope someone can help me navigate round the archives! Daisy

Woof woof! Pimlico is part of Westminster and this bit is under Westminster on Hugh Wallis' batch numbers: Pimlico Palace Street Buckingham Independent) C097621 1820-1837 I am not au fait with other churches in the area, you might find what you want listed there, but if not, I think the originals are probably in Westminster Archives. nell

Where are these records kept please? I know it's not the Guildhall nor the LMA but do the FRC hold them or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks. Daisy
