thank you everyone for your help, this is a great way of getting info ,a friend only showed me it yesterday . in the last 24 hours i have found out loads thanks again all who have helped i will enjoy today digging deeper .

This is the closest match I can find on ancestry civil reg: CURTIS, Frederick Joseph A Record Type: Births Quarter: March Year: 1902 District: Camberwell (1837-1919) County: London Surrey Volume: 1d Page: 811 Camberwell registration district includes Dulwich. nell

Karen has said its OK, so she sent me this info: the name is fredrick, arthur joseph curtis believe he was born in dulwich london his father was edward dont know mothers name . regards karen nell

Karen has sent me the name in a private e-mail with the father's name too. I have e-mailed her to ask if I can put the info on this thread, and also to ask her how she knows the details she has are right, but she hasn't answered yet. nell

The same way as i told you to look for your grandmothers birth.Find his birth registration, send for the cert which will name his parents, then we can hopefully find THEM in the census

Well you could put his name here, then other people would know who we were looking for! What evidence do you have he was born Dec 1901? any other details - where born, parents' names, etc. nell

please help i am trying to find someone born in december 1901 they are not on the 1901 census as it was taken in March as you all know , how can i find him please
