How Complete is the 1851 census on Ancestry?

Just to let you all know that I have found William P & Jane also John as he was their son.It took hours of looking at every page for the town of Littlehampton Thanks to all who tried to find them.I am still missing Esther Roskruge. Thanks again Sandra |

Hi Jeanette, It could possibly be him on the 1851 I was hoping he would be with his parents as I'm not 100% sure of who they were.I haven't found him on the 1861 census either I presumed that he was away at sea. Thanks for looking Sandra |

Sandra - you have Colchester Essex/Little Clapham, Essex. I think this should read Little Clacton as I live in this area. Hope this helps. Lesley |

Here are the people I am looking for William P & Jane Roskruge born St Ives Cornwall 1791 (in the 1871 at Littlehampton Kent) Esther Roskruge born Colchester Essex/Little Clapham Essex 1819 her husband is Thomas but he may of died before the census John Roskruge born Faversham Kent 1838. Hope someone can help Sandra |

If you click on UK CENSUS COLLECTIONS,then 1851- scroll down and it will give you a list of known problems. Might solve some of your problems - on the other hand !!!!!! Elaine |

Does any one know whether it is complete on Ancestry.I have a few rellies that I just can't find I have tried all sorts of different searches but they still haven't popped up.I was really hoping that the 1851 would answer some of my questions,I'll have to pull my hair out some more!!!.
