Looks like you'll have to buy some credits Karen, and try to put the 4 brothers together. Sam |

Karen, Have you checked your old thread about this??? I can't find it - maybe I never posted on it (??), but I remember there were quite a few replies..........You may be getting people to pay to do the same lookups that were done before.......... Apologies if that's not the case! Merry |

Unfortunately I don't know the mother's maiden name, only that she was Ivy. I also only know that the father was known as Jack. I was trying to get birth records to allow me to go back. |

I checked 1921 as you are not 100% on those years, there is a sibling for George above probably Sept q 1921 MAPP - THOMAS R mother's maiden name - SMITH - BROMYARD - 6a 935 This may at least rule out one of the above Sam |

There is only 1 John in 1922 June quarter 1922 MAPP - JOHN C - Mother's maiden name - ALLAWAY - West Ham 4a 169 but it doesn't match the George, you really need to find the parents marriage first, unless you already know their mother's maiden name of course |

Have you looked on 1837 online? Pay per view site, that's the only way you'll find them, unless you go to you local records office, then you can search for free. Do you know their parents names? This would help to narrow down your searches, look for the parents marrige first to establish their mother's maiden name, then you will be able to pinpoint each birth exactly. With christian names like John Albert William & George it will be difficult to kow which ones are yours. Sam |

Can anybody help trace the births of these four brothers. They are John (c1922), William (c1923), Albert (c1926) and George Mapp (c1929). I think they were born around London but not sure. I have hit a complete dead wall and don't have access to search for these four. If anybody can help I would be so grateful. Thanks. |
