Heather We are all thinking of you & desperate for you to have this film. Local film buff doesn't think it has ever been put on video in UK, so hoping that the Dutch connection is fruitful. Please keep us all informed of your progress - I am sure everyone in GR is sitting with fingers crossed, rooting for you. Jay

Do you interpret it as meaning: 'There are videos presently C120'. C120 is just the size of a video isnt it? It cant mean anything else surely. Oh please, please let there be a copy to buy.

Thats so kind of you. I didnt know you could do that on the internet!? A few mistranslations there! I like the horse called jacket! Do you think the bit at the end means there are copies for sale or not though, it isnt clear is it? Where it mentions the chase by police. My dads oldest bro was the policeman starting the chase. The soldier steals his old horse Jack which he sees being herded onto a boat to go to France for slaughter after WW1. So thats where dad and his bros were used for the chases. The star who saves him was the daughter of the police chief (dad told me all this last year, bless him) and she apparently hangs out of a window of the rooms that one of my uncles lived in in Bermondsey. Oh gawd, I do hope I get to see it. Many thanks for your help.

Or read Dutch to be accurate!. Ive had an email back from the Dutch cinemuseum and though I can make out a lot of it cos Dutch is so similar to English, I am missing bits which may be of use to me re the silent film my dad was in in 1923. I want to see if there is anything which will give me further leads to buying a copy as the email I got said they were not sure any copies were available to buy. PS. How much is 120 euros, as if I care.
