marion, hiya. No the FAMILY SEARCH. ORG IGI has a catalogue and you used to be able to get info about soldiers in WW!, but ive forgotten how to do it. About 12 months ago I managed to get the info on one of my uncles and now Im looking for another one. ROBERT LUNT. I cant seem to find anything about him after 1901 neither marriage nor death, so being 19 in 1901 in TOX PARK LPOOL he would have been 32years in 1914, old just the age for soldiers then, and I was hoping to find something about him, his regt number etc, BUT I cant for the life of me remember how I did it. Hope your keeping well. TED. |

Ted, I've just had a look around the FS site ...... and there is a tab at the top that refers to the catalogue. Maybe if you enter the surname, it will take you further in the direction your wantingto go ? Maybe ? I don't know anything about it ..... didn't even know it was there !!!!!! Elkaine :-) |

elaine, Ive done that, used all permitations and sure enough you get a list of batch numbers that you can order the film from the local branch LDS but somehow I managed to get the info without having to do that, maybe just maybe they have changed things around. as you can theres one heck of a lot of info and its not expensive to order it, pay around £3.50 for the film and you can use it for a month. Its really good. TED. |
