IRENE CORRAN MARRIAGE CERT RECIEVED

This morning i have recieved irene mary corran's marriage certificate, her age on the certificate is 24 and the marriage took place in 1941. Her father philip corran was deceased when this marriage took place. The father of the groom william albert diccox was called herbert william diccox and he was also deceased at the time of this marriage. Just need to find the birth of irene corran now which is alot easier to find i would have thought. |

It looks like you'll need to look on either family relatives or 1937online. Fmily Relatives might ne the cheapest as the birth for Irene should be prior to 1920 and family relatives hav 1866 to 1920 fully transcribed and indexed. Happy hunting |

My Nan Valerie Diccox said that her mum (IRENE MARY CORRAN) died when she was around 13 years old, so if IRENE CORRAN was born in 1916 and married in 1941 and my nam was 13 in 1955 IRENE CORRAN must have died in 1955. |

I have looked from 1950 - 1960 and there is no death registered under the name of Irene Diccox. Are you certain about the dates? Trish |

That seem's strange, yes i'm certain about the dates, she definately died when her daughter (my nan) was 12 or 13. |

I'm not sure what to suggest now. Diccox is an unusual name and there were not many deaths for that name in the decade I searched. Sorry I can't help more. Trish |
