If you look on the Coverage pages for FreeBMD, I think you'll find they haven't got that far yet with the transcriptions. Christine |

Margaret - sorry to sound picky but You do not know where she died until you find her death cert - You cant have been there! My brother died 15 years ago and out of curisoity, and when i was new to 1837 look ups,I thought i would search out his death cert. I looked and i looked and I knew where dad would have registered his death, lived all his life in Hertfordshire. The day he died he was taken into hosp and was transfered to one of the big hospitals in London. I was gobsmaked,- although i shouldn't have been-to see his death registered in London. He didnt live there, he didnt work there, just died there. Jess x |

You are quite right Jess, she could have died elsewhere, however my brother always heard that mum was busy looking after gran prior to her death at the time he was born in St Helens. My first husband died at home in one County, but was pronounced dead by a Coroner in another County, so that is named as his place of death on the certificate......Strange...... Thanks, Margaret |

Margaret, Its as simple as this- if Carol used 1837 as a source and has said that the 2 she found are the only 2 in Lancashire for 1927,then thats your lot. However,if another incomplete source has been used then fair enough. Are you sure about her age/birth? |
