what was her mothers maiden name? The most obvious reason for someone having a name like that is that they have their mothers maiden name as a middle name. where have you found the reference to all 3 together? Jess x

i only have the court documents for her son ian who was born 21/4/1933..his mother was ellen vine henderson but i dont have any other info about her...her whereabouts were unknown ? vine seems unusual name..? thought she might have been ellen vine and married henderson but cant find a match..

If you think she was probably born in England/Wales, then if you buy some units for Family Relatives site, there are 36 Ellen Hendersons born 1910-1920 (FreeBMD goes up to 1909). It would cost you 40p to download the 36 entries to see if any of them had the correct middle name......... merry

thanx everyone..i was in glasgow last week visiting all the places where my mother and ian henderson had been placed before being seperated and moved around incare..this is very frustrating but at least my mother saw in person where she was and we also visited the mitchell library where i requested any info they can find on my mother and i am now getting somewhere and awaiting contact from the authority where she was placed..fingers crossed.!!!

i dont have his birth certificate i,m not sure if he was born in scotland or england ? he seems to have taken the name mitchell according to the documents i have. so i think the couple called him by their name..as he is ian henderson known as mitchell
