ancestry 1851... why can i not search it tonight ?

hi , i cannot get in.... everytime i type the name to search for in the boxes... it takes me straight to the 1861 !!! help ! sue. x |

It's been doing the same to me too Sue. Do you think that we have worn it out already?? I have had an email from Ancestry today though asking if I want to be notified when they have the 1851 on so I wonder if the last few days was just a trial? Maggy |

Alternatively (this is working for me as of this morning) enter the name into the search box on the 1851 site, it takes you straight to 1861, am I right? If so, now look in your address space in the tool bar at the top, looks like gobbledygook... see where it says 1861? replace the 6 with a 5 and click go....sorted Sam |

Kaths ULR is not working this morning, it says error processing image, i cant understand how people can have been so stupid as to have sent Ancestry emails about problems acessing the 1851 census, when Ancestry have not even official released it yet, so of coarse they have pulled it, probably be weeks now till it comes on. |

I jst signed up to ancestry on their free 14 day trial offer. I cannot find 1851 by any of the methods suggested. is this becasue I'm only on the trial offer or have they stopped people using it now? Wade |
