Think Im going to have to bite the bullet & sign up for a year. Have seen before it could work out slightly less if signing thro the usa site. Thanks all Shirley

Hi All I sign up on the US site for Uk and Ireland as I can pay in dollars, worked out about 62.00 sterling for me including taxes. It's really not expensive over 12 months if you can afford it upfront, less than a cert a month. Next year will be my third year! Best wishes Amanda

Hi Shirley, Be warned it is as addictive a this site. I joined for 3 months, then another 3 months until on 13th this month I complete a year which has cost me £120. Am now going to renew for a year for £70. I can always while away a few happy hours on the site and do look ups for other people when I run out of ideas for myself. Enjoy, Jean.

I joined last Spring. I'd been thinking about it for ages - wish I'd joined a bit sooner because I spent a noticeable amount on 1901 vouchers before joining and now that census, like so many others, is freely available to me. It was getting access to all the other census images when I was doing a project for a friend which converted me! I think of it as being 'about £6 per month' (including VAT). It's not difficult to spend that and more when you're after census images for different bits of the family. Christine
