Heather - stop hitting the Ancestry site once every 30 seconds to see if it's on yet - you're slowing it down for the rest of us :-) Richard

'all census records from England and Wales spanning 1851 to 1901.' Does that mean that 1851 will be added to the main site and not exclusively to the spin off site.

There is a 'spin-off' site for every census. I didn't even know they existed till someone pointed them out. They would not put up a census which was exclusively for that site without advertising it first.

Nope CAROL its going to be included as a goodie on our usual site - had an email about it.

The 'spin-off' page has been edited a couple of times this week which is promising. I would not be surprised if 1851 appears quietly and is there for some hours before it appears on the home page. When they were releasing a few counties at a time you could search the counties before they appeared in the drop down list. They might not have been complete but at least you could start doing searches. MB
