Hi I need a look up if poss. My Ancestry subscription ran out yesterday :( not sure whether to renew or not. Anyway, Henry Hunt married Harriet Louisa Miller in Sept 1871 in London. I pretty well know all I need to after this children etc, by 1881 they are living in Birmingham and have four children(Alice, Annie, Edward and Ernest). On the 1881 census Henry's birthplace is B'ham, Harriets's is Pancras London, up to the point my subsricption ran out I've been trying to track them before 1871 with no luck (I've spent enough on cert's). Any idea's ?

If you are looking for pre 1871, have you found them in 1871 then?? If yes, can you post? Have you got fathers names and occupations from their marriage cert? Merry

Hi Matthew Have you got their parents details from the marriage cert? Ive tried looking for them in 1861 but there are too many Henrys born in Birmingham and no obvious matches for Harriet. Back in an hour Jacqui

Merry, No I haven't got to the cert stage yet, although I know I will have to. I just wondered if you guys could see anything on the census that I've missed.

As thet got married late in 1871 (in London) I'm guessing Henry was in London during the 1871 census........but you know what guessing means in this game

No luck with Harriet Miller. Trouble is, if you were born in Pancras there about 1001 places you might give as your place of birth!! Merry
