Yeah well at 70 you might as well try your luck with a woman 30 years younger, nothing to lose!

Sorry but I can't see a Walter in the 1871 info posted above. Am I missing something? Also if William was Elizabeth's employer how could he kick her out and go and live with her? nell

SORRY I meant William Fursman/Furzman not Walter, too many Williams and Walters in the family!!! Also I have been told that Walter is Elizabeth Fursman's and William's son, and that he was her employer and when she got pregnant out of wedlock, she was kicked out and went to live with William in Whitchurch, funny how they are listed a Niece and Boarder though ;-) Someone telling porkie pies? Is that why William W R kept the Fursman name rather than take Roberts as his parents never married???

The 7 year old isn't his son: his surname is Fursman and he's a boarder. William (not Walter) Roberts is a 77 year old widower. Janice

OK you good people I am looking for Walter Roberts b1794 Whitchurch Canonicorum, Dorset. I have him in 1871 aged 77 with a 7 year old son!!!! But 1861 would be very useful to find out what he was up to before that the old tinker!! Or even any details at all about him further back if that is possible ??? Thanks in advance.
