Hi Debbie I was having the same problem. I am no expert, but I managed to upload mine by scanning the photo first and when the window comes up where it asks what size file I selected 'small file' The File format was already set at JPEG (*JPG) quality 12 Low. It sounds very confusing and I suppose all scanners work differently. I don't know if this is of any help, it and would also depend on whether you have a scanner on your printer. The photo's uploaded really well mind you they were black and white photo's. The scanner would probably have to be set differently for colour.. If not you may be able to reduce the photo size if you have some package on your computer maybe paint or something.I tried that but got totally confused. Good Luck Barbara |

Hi There is a limit on the size your photos can be on here. It is only 150 kb. It tells you about it under the Help/faqs section. Julie |

I have tried to add photos to my family tree, but keep coming up with the same message all the time, that they are too big?? and nothing else. I have no problem inserting or sending them in other things, so why on here. Has anyone else come across this problem and what did you do to rectify it. Please let me know. Thanks |
