Hi and evening to you all Sorry to be a pain but i keep hitting a brick wall can you tell me how to find the cenus for london area for the 1920's Thanks Hazel |

there isn't one they only go up to 1901 the next census 1911 is not due out until 2012 Jeanette |

Thank you I have been going round in circles trying to find it I have limited info from a birth cert and wanted to try and get back the next stage Thanks again Hazel |

Hazel, you need to get back before 1901. What certificate are you working from? Say its your mums birth cert. You can see her parents on there, so you look for their marriage and buy their marriage cert. That will give you her dads name which by then will be someone born before 1901 and off you go. Try reading the tips for newbies on here and on the home page. And hey, you dont know what a brick wall is yet, believe me. |
