Have just got copy of Vicar General marriage licence. Is from 1810 says in Royal and Free Chapel of Saint Peter witin the Tower of London. Is within The Tower of London a district or the actual Tower of London as we know it today?

There is a chapel within the Tower of London. Certain people can still be married etc. there. Including the families of the Yeoman (Beefeaters). Dee x

Looking at it again also says they both lived in The parsih of Saint Peter within the Tower of London.

ooh how exciting, I know he and his son both worked for the Admiralty . Will have to google but I always seem to come up with stupid things when I do it. Will put it in as you did. Thanks
