Hi to fellow transcribers! I am sorry to be a pain again, my co-ordinator is away on his hols and I am new to this. On the census form I am transcribing, under 'Road, Street etc' the enumerator has written 'Butcher Shop', but all the fields alongside are blank. What do I enter on my spreadsheet please? Also, he has the habit of starting each new schedule without it being a 'Head' of household, eg servant? The schedule is 211, then it says butcher shop, which is blank, then schedule 212, Walter Wadmore, servant etc.?? Trust my first lot to be difficult! All help gratefully received. Thanks again, Jules |

I'll nudge the help thread for you - but in case you don't see it you can search for it - it's called 'FREECEN - I need help! #2' I think we must record what the enumerator wrote down and would put an 'X' in column H and add a Note in column Y querying it - so it's picked up by the checker. Anna |
