I have been trying to find my 3xgt granfathers birth certificate for such a long time now, i am thinking of giving up on that line. He was born in Austria with the name of Johann Schwanzer and moved to the uk and married a british woman in 1878, he adopted the name of John swanser and applied for naturalization, which was granted, I went to kew and found all the naturalization papers and coppied all of them, on one document was that, he had submitted his birth certificate and marriage certificate, but, there isnt any copies of any birth or marriage certificate. could anyone tell me where i might find any copies of the birth certificate?( i already have the marriage certificate) Or how i could get a copy from Austria? please, i hope this makes sense!
