My Gran Eliza Sophia Frankis was born in 1894 in Greenwich. Her parents Edward and Florence Frankis and her grandmother Eliza Willmore are on the 1901 census but she isn't. Where could she be? If she was in hospital or a workhouse would she still appear on the census. Any ideas? Sue |

Some hospitals (and some other institutions) just record patients by their initials, so it is possible that she is in hospital but you can't find her as her name isn't listed. Sam x |

Thanks Sam. It was puzzling me as to where she could be. Sue |
